HTML [I'm a newbie] How can I position text in specific ways as opposed to using center, align, etc?

I’m trying to position a section of hyperlinks in a specific way that I can’t do with center, left, right, etc. I’m new and I’ve been reading and I know it has to do with CSS but the way it was explained confused me. Thank you!

It’s not exactly clear what you’re looking for but flexbox can be used to position stuff in basically any way you want (although you might have to do some nesting etc.)

These might be useful:

Hey,

Make sure that the parent tag of the link has some width to it. If the parent tag is same width as the link, you won’t see the link as aligned even if it is centered, left or right because there is no place for it go.

Use flexbox to align items. if its just text that you are trying to aligning, than you can also use the text-align property.

css can be confusing sometimes lol Hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face:
