How to get the content of all files (blobs) in a single API?

I have been referring to the API in this page (https://developer.github.com/v3/repos/contents/) to get all the files inside the repository using Python.

However, this code returned an array with files without the “content” attribute.

GET /repos/:owner/:repo/contents/

The documentation stated " If you omit :path, you will receive the contents of all files in the repository." but I don’t have access to the actual content of all the files.

Is there a way to get the content of all the files in the same respository without querying each blob API or repo API with a specific path?

Thanks!

If all you want is the content of all files in a repository, you can always use the “Download ZIP” URL: [https://github.com/:owner/:repo/archive/master.zip](https://github.com/:owner/:repo/archive/master.zip)

I hope that helps!
