I have noticed that GitHub recently rolled out a feature to minimize comments which are “old”. Sometimes, I’d like to view all old comments, so that I can refresh my knowledge on my issue. Is there a way to un-minimize all comments? The ‘i’ keyboard shortcut isn’t quite it, because that toggles whether or not comments are shown at all or not, but even if a minimized comment is ‘shown’, I can’t see its content without explicitly unminimizing it.
Thanks for being here! I don’t believe there is a shortcut at the moment to accomplish what you are trying to.
I’ve logged your feature request in our internal feature request list. Though I can’t guarantee anything or share a timeline for this, I can tell you that it’s been shared with the appropriate teams for consideration.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Has this behaviour changed recently? It’s very awkward to use now. Comments as little as 5 days old which are completely relevant (even ondes months old, i’d argue) are now hidden from sight. On top of this, it looks so similar to “has been resolved” that it’s very easy to skip over them.
Please reconsinder this.
