how to clone git lfs repository without large files not being compressed?

I have problem cloning git repository that uses git lfs. After cloning, all large files have been compressed to byte files and can’t be decompressed or to be used. They are still files of the same type but instead of mbs or kbs of size, they have size of bytes. Maybe the fact worth nothing is that the sizes are in the same range from 129 to 131 bytes.

I’ve setup lfs tracking for all large file types before cloning, so there won’t be the problem with that.

It sounds like the Git LFS command line extension is either not installed or not functioning properly.  Have you done the “Getting Started” steps on the computer you are working from?
