I’m trying to push a repo from gitlab that has a commit with a massive squashed commit. This is the message I’m getting:
> git push --no-thin --mirror github Enumerating objects: 201975, done. Counting objects: 100% (201975/201975), done. Delta compression using up to 16 threads Compressing objects: 100% (44414/44414), done. remote: fatal: non-blob object size limit exceeded (commit <hash> is 62518072 bytes) error: remote unpack failed: index-pack abnormal exit
As I understand it, the size limit should be 100MB, but this is only 60-something. Redoing the commit to cut out some stuff will be difficult because the main driver is the squashed source code, I don’t believe it’s based on files that we can do LFS with. Assuming that’s the case, are there any other options here? Will upgrading the account help?
