Good day, I am kinda new for GraphQL thing, and I’m wondering is it possible to create repositories for each team in organization at once (via using cycle or i dunno, some magical command), because kinda I see that I can create only one by one repository, via getting team id with query
GraphQL GitHub API Explorer is it possible to crate repositories for each team in organization at once?
hello there and welcome to the GitHub Support Community @BJladika!
There’s not a way to create multiple repositories for a single team or many teams by performing a single mutation in the GitHub GraphQL API. One approach you can take is writing your own script that iterates through a list of repository names for each team where it:
- creates an organization-owned repository
- add or update team repository permissions for that newly created repository
I’m sure there are other approaches by which others in the Support Community can definitely speak to.
