I’m migrating from BitBucket to GitHub so I’m using the import tool (great tool btw!).
But I came across an odd issue right now:
I wanted to import this repo named “myapi_v2” on my origin (BitBucket) account, renaming it as “myapi” on Github.
But under that same BitBucket account I already have a repo called “myapi”. So GitHub imported that one instead of “myapi_v2” I provided.
I have imported a bunch of repositories prior to this one and this is the first time it happened.
Of course I can import that repo again with a different name and everything’s gonna be fine. But I just wanted to point that issue out because migrating a repo usually means you’re gonna get rid of the previous one… So if it goes unnoticed someone might go through hell.
