GitHub-hosted Visual Studio Enterprise Licensing

Hello, We need VS to compile and distribute a product to our clients and we’re doing it in a self-hosted runner with our copy of VS Professional, but it would be simpler to just use the GitHub-hosted one.

Is it ok (license-wise) to use the Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 that is available on the Microsoft Windows Server 2019 GitHub-hosted runner to produce binaries to be distributed third parties (our clients)?

The GitHub-hosted runners are installed on the Azure Virtual machines . You could deploy to anywhere as long as the destination could be accessed through the Internet. There are some SSH deploy actions in the marketplace: https://github.com/marketplace?type=actions&query=ssh
