Github Contributions

I made a commit in a public repository, and waited for more than 24 hours. I don’t know why, my commits are not visible in the contributions heat map. But, I can see the activity in the repository’s commits timeline (github.com/RishabBaisakh/calculator/commits/master).

Does anybody knows anything regarding any similar situation.

Hi there. 👋

I think it’s because git config doesn’t match what’s on GitHub, as you can see on the commit history the commit user isn’t linking to your GitHub, make sure all of that information matches and it linked.

Staff can give more info on that, but hope this helps in the meanwhile. :slightly_smiling_face:

We have a whole help article on Why are my contributions not showing up in my profile? that explains all the ins and outs and methods to fix common problems. It looks like the email address you used for those commits is not associated with your GitHub account.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thank you so much guys, now I understand what was happening.
