For some reasons my Github Actions always get stuck when running a step. The culprit appears to be a step involving the command
molecule list. This doesn’t make sense as the command runs on my Ubuntu in WSL and the necessary commands have been validated to have been installed. Not sure if it’s me not having setup Github Actions correctly or something else is at play.
The step where it is stuck at is here.
Following is the status of the run. “Test Playbook ‘bind’ 5” ran for 19 min 13 seconds and it appears the run exited after a time out. The steps “Test Playbook ‘bind’ 1 - 4” were only added to help debug by validating the binaries required were successfully installed.
On this particular version of the workflow file after the step “Restart docker service” it is not printing out any more logs. Not sure why this is the case.
Because I noticed in previous runs these steps which generate very little output don’t show anything I thought it might have due to insufficient amount of info is printed so it hasn’t flushed it’s output. I tried adding the
od -An -N400 -i < /dev/urandom lines in an attempt to get it print out something but these still can’t get it to print out anything.
