Git Bash unable to identify file changes after a failed push

This morning the github server is down. No one can push their file to the server successfully I guess.
Push the repository → failed → then I check the git status, it said the repository is clean. The system just lose all the tracks of my changes.
What do I do so that I can push these files again? Thank you.

The repository being “clean” means there are no uncommitted changes, regardless of whether those changes have been pushed anywhere else. You can check the commits in your local repository with git log.

As for the failed push, you can simply retry it: run git push again. :slightly_smiling_face:
