Getting an error while pushing the project to GitHub through Android Studio

While pushing my project to GitHub through Android Studio, got an error:

Cannot finish GitHub sharing process

Successfully created project ‘TourGuide’ on GitHub, but initial push failed: HttpRequestException encountered. The remote end hung up unexpectedly The remote end hung up unexpectedly RPC failed; curl 56 OpenSSL SSL_read: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL, errno 10054

I searched on the web and used “client_max_body_size 0;” and even downloaded the Git Large File Storage (LFS) and tried fixing the issue but got no result. As my files size is 890mb.

Hi @shagaurav,

Thanks for being here! I might be an SSL certificate issue…Could you take a look at your .gitconfig file and make sure sslverify is set to false. Then give it another try?

I hope this helps!

Hi there,

I recently had a similar issue and looking at your error report, the file size is too large to upload at once. The value I got back was 25Mb.

As such, can you please try to upload single files or a collection of files withing the range of 0Mb to 24.99 Mb.

All the best,

Russell Clarke

Correction within the range of 0Mb to 25Mb.
