Step 5: Add an image

I followed the steps but the pencil icon is not present. I used https://lab.github.com/public/communicating-using-markdown.pdf for reference just in case and used the following image
[plane]https://homepages.cae.wisc.edu/~ece533/images/airplane.png

But doesn’t say I complete when I click commit?
