Find the newest fork of an old repo

Hallo

I not so trained to github and have a beginners question:

I found a repo on github (eBayDeveloper/eBay_APICall_CodeSamples) and this is since years abandoned.
But there are many forks of it, but I don’t want to look into every of it to find the newest and with the most changes.

Is there not any way to compare all forks with there actuality (e.g. ammount of commits)?

This question I have had often, not only with this repository.

Thank you for a hint.

To find the newest, you can go to the Network item in the Insights tab of the parent repository: https://github.com/eBayDeveloper/eBay_APICall_CodeSamples/network. Balancing the newest against the most changes is rather subjective, so that would have to be done manually.

Try this service, it will list forks by newest/oldest, most stars/forks/issues, etc:

You can also try this one, similar concept.
