It is not a trouble, but is cumbersome to upload an 7zip attachment to a issue.
I’m developing a library to handle 7-zip archive, and ticket issuer want to attach sample file.
Because of github allowd file types, reporter need to re-zip it as .zip or .gz and upload.
Are there any other requirements for extending allowed file types?
Here is my idea, .7z and .xz would be candidate.
Also are there any pitfalls for these format?
If github.com tried scanning files to protect github site from malware, it may lead a reasonable restrictions.
