GitHub is excited to announce our February Africa meetup!

Please join us on Tuesday, February 16th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm WAT / 6:00pm to 8:00pm EAT!

Hosted by GitHub’s own Martins Ewere, this month we are thrilled to be joined by some very special guests who will all be sharing their favorite GitHub features!

  • Marlene Mhangami will share how she uses Github pages to deploy her personal website online for free. She will also talk about how to use open-source frameworks to build a website quickly.

  • Sharon Jebitok will discuss how you can use GitHub Actions to run linters to help catch code errors and improve quality.

  • Chiamaka Okenwa will wrap up by covering 2 cool GitHub features:
GitHub gists: A better way for code sharing
ReadMe: A guide for your github project

We look forward to seeing you on February 16th at https://www.youtube.com/github and at the networking event afterward via Zoom!
