Every commit is "2 days ago"

Hello, since today I have the problem with all my repositories that every commit has the wrong time. I have committed and pushed some changes in my private repositories, then when I look in the commit history display it says “thisisevanfox committed 2 days ago” for every commit. This is a big problem especially for building releases. Do I have a bug in my local git configuration or what am I doing wrong?

Kind regards
Evan

It’s impossible to be sure without seeing the history and knowing exactly what you did, but a likely reason is if you rebased those commits. When rebasing commits for one of my project I noticed that GitHub uses the committer time, not the author time. The committer time is reset when you do a rebase, so GitHub will show that time, not when the pre-rebase commit was created.
