Error when uploading 378kb image file

I have been getting the following error (see below) when uploading a website containing a single 378kb image.

Can you tell me why I’m getting this error. Users have experienced similar issues when the image file size is too big, but this one is well under 1MB. I’ve uploaded many images without a problem until today.

In this case, I uploaded the contents of a website WITHOUT the image first and did not get any errors. Then I added the image to the website and pushed the change to my remote git repository, which caused the error below.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Everything up-to-date

Ok, I think I figured it out. I did a speed test on my internet connection and discovered that while my download speed was normal, my upload speed was crawling. It’s possible the github server was timing out, which is why the images weren’t uploading. I rebooted by modem and router, and since then have been able to upload the project with images directly from the command line.
