Documentation on syntax of composite actions

Hi,
I am looking at https://docs.github.com/en/free-pro-team@latest/actions/reference/workflow-syntax-for-github-actions and don’t find a documentation on the syntax of composite actions.

Where can i find such a documentation?

Thanks

Here: Creating a composite run steps action

Thanks for the link. But this is more an introductory article and not a detailed. reference of the. syntax

There are further links to the meta syntax documentation on the page and the rest is just the standard actions syntax.

@david-gang,

About the syntax when creating the composite run steps actions, you can see “Metadata syntax for GitHub Actions”.
In this article, you can see the syntax about how to set up the metadata file (action.yml or action.yaml) for the JavaScript actions, Docker actions or composite run steps actions.

About the syntax when using the composite run steps actions in the workflow, all the actions are the same syntax. More details, you can see “jobs.<job_id>.steps.uses”.
