docker push Windows image fails with " No matching package_file "

First of all, thank you for providing us a very very fast runner service.

When I try to push a Windows docker image to Github Package Registry (ref), it fails at last process with an error :

docker build -t docker.pkg.github.com/${{ github.repository }}/bundle:pwsh-ltsc2019 --pull bundle
docker login -u \*\*\* -p ${{ secrets.GITHUB\_TOKEN }} docker.pkg.github.com
docker push docker.pkg.github.com/${{github.repository}}/bundle:pwsh-ltsc2019
...
denied: No matching package_file with sha256 "65014b3c312172f10bd6701a063f9b5aaf9a916c2d2cb843d406a6f77ded3f8d" found in repository "***/minecraft-server".

Pushing the image to Docker Registry (ref) works fine, but I want to use GitHub’s really…

Latest image of Windows Server Core LTSC 2019 is what I used. Please take a look at this…

Hi @sunghwan2789 ,

I forked your repo and can repro the same on my side. I checked the docker images created, and directly push with the exact image:tag, the same error occurs. I have raised an internal ticket for confirmation, will update once there’s a response. Thanks.

Hi @sunghwan2789 ,

Sorry for late response. I confirmed with github stuff, this failure is due to that Windows images aren’t supported.

Push a docker image fails when it can’t find a foreign layer.

Thanks.

Are there plans to support Windows images in the future?
