Do commits from within action count as "repository activity"?

From https://docs.github.com/en/actions/managing-workflow-runs/disabling-and-enabling-a-workflow:

In a public repository, scheduled workflows are automatically disabled when no repository activity has occurred in 60 days.

Will commits from within a scheduled workflow prevent it from being disabled?

The link doesn’t exist anymore, but I believe the answer is yes. It still counts as a repository activity regardless if it came from actions.

Seems it’s moved here: Disabling and enabling a workflow - GitHub Docs

And yeah, I’ve been running such repository since the first post and had no issues with workflows getting auto-disabled.
