My default merge commit title is different from what it used to be for me. Instead of default " Merge Pull Request #3" it reads the same as commit body message. I have tried to see if there was a user setting for this, but could not find it.
Can you give exact steps to reproduce this behavior? I can’t reproduce it myself. For example, here’s a merge commit from a pull request I merged this morning. It shows the standard “Merge pull request …” commit message.
