Create folders/categories on GitHub Desktop

On the desktop, the repos I have cloned are categorized by the user I cloned from, as well as “Recent.” However, there are 2 issues:

  • “Recent” doesn’t update when I access a repo, push/pull from it, etc.
  • I cannot create my own category. For example, I am working on a crowdsourced experiment, and would lime to create a category on the desktop client where I can categorize all of the repos related to this project.

Thanks for the feedback @angoodkind. See this comment for more information about why we do not have plans to implement repository grouping at this time. Something that may help you - If you right click a repo name, you can Create Alias . Then, you could preface or suffix the repos for a specific project to your preference, and the filter by that convention.
