collaborator problem

Hello. I needed to add a collaborator to my repository. I added one in “manage access”, but I didn’t get a window where I could choose a role for them. After I searched for a collaborator in the list and clicked “Select a collaborator above”, it disappered and now the collaborator is in the list. But how to edit a role for the collaborator?

If this is for your personal account, you’ll only be able to grant write access to collaborators. Collaborators can’t have read-only access to repositories owned by a user account. We have more information about repository permissions here.

If you need more permissions control, you may want to consider inviting the user to collaborate in an organizational account.
