Certificate will not generate

Hi everyone,

I cannot get the certificate to generate for my github page. I’ve had no issues with this for other pages, but this one is giving me trouble.

I’ve got it set up with a cname in the repo:

I’ve got it set up with my DNS:

(base) COMPUTER:~ ME$ dig statstools.com +noall +answer

; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> statstools.com +noall +answer
;; global options: +cmd
statstools.com. 86352 IN A
statstools.com. 86352 IN A
statstools.com. 86352 IN A
statstools.com. 86352 IN A
(base) COMPUTER:~ ME$

I’ve deleted and readded the cname to help trigger it again, I’ve emailed github support (no answer), and it’s been a couple weeks of trying to get this to work. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Hey @doomlab, per this link: https://help.github.com/en/github/working-with-github-pages/troubleshooting-custom-domains-and-github-pages#https-errors are you using a Certification Authority Authorization (CAA) record? If so, you may need to add that in your DNS config. I also suggest contacting support for your DNS provider so they can do a quick pass and make sure everything looks good on that side of things.

I’m not using CAA records - doesn’t appear from the help page you linked that they are necessary.

I have another repo set up just fine in the exact same way at wordnorms.com:

Contacted my provider - everything looks fine on their end.
