Cannot publish existing release to Marketplace

Hello.

I am trying to publish this action to the marketplace.

I am creating automatic releases on GitHub each time I commit to master using Semantic Release  and I dont want to create a new release manually, so I tried to edit my last release and check the “Publish to marketplace checkbox” and fill all the required information. Everything is ok, but when I save the release, nothing happens. It justs redirects to the “edit release” page but without the checkbox for Publish to marketplace checked.

If I create a new release manually, it works. May be the “update release” page was not fully updated to allow publishing to marketplace? I dont known.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Same here, the “Marketplace” checkbox is missing completely.

All I did was removing my last release and creating a new one after adding docker hub auto build against that repo.

I had the same issue. This is how I fixed it:

I removed all single quotes from my actions.yml.

Somehow it was okay to have values wrapped in single quotes for the first release and it worked for a couple of releases after it (I did v0.0.1-beta.1 … -beta.xx). Even v1.0.0 worked well. But after that GItHub didn’t show the checkbox to publish to the marketplace anymore.

After removing the single quotes (which appear to make yaml files invalid) it worked again. I haven’t fully understood the issue, so I can’t guarantee that this will be working for you, but it’s worth a try.
