Can Votes icon(e.g. thumb up) colour (or icon itself) be changed, if I’ve already voted?

Feature request: Can Votes icon(e.g. thumb up) colour (or icon itself) be changed, if I’ve already voted?
Sometimes I wish to upvote some question/answer, but not sure, have I done it already a few days ago.
Click to see, if the number increased or decreased, is not very user friendly

I’ve submitted the suggestion to the contact page https://github.com/contact, as it was suggested at https://github.community/t5/How-to-use-Git-and-GitHub/Where-to-create-issues-about-GitHub-itself/m-p/6474#M2127 , but I’m posting here for public visibility

If you’re talking about here in the forum, the icon color does change based on whether you’ve already voted. It goes from blue to orange. If you’re talking about on GitHub, the background of an emoji reaction is blue if you submitted that reaction and gray if you didn’t.

Thank for the answer. My question was about  GitHub issues, the background of an emoji reaction is indeed changed to blue if you submitted that reaction, but it’s hard to notice and even more harder to guess the meaning.
I’ve asked my wife, what is changing when I clicked an emoji reaction , and she obviously noticed change of number, but didn’t notice change of background.
It will be good to choose  more easy to notice indicator, did user submit an emoji reaction or not.

E.g something like  GithubThumbUpWithTick.png- I am sure that GitHub has better artists than me :smileyvery-happy:
