Just wondering. I have a GitHub account, but I have a friend who I’ve been trying to convince to use GitHub, and I thought it would be cool to have them take the Introduction to GitHub course to finally get them to switch over. Thanks for any help!
Hello @atarithelarge! A GitHub user account is necessary to take any of the courses.
I think the Introduction to GitHub course is a great start for any beginner, so hopefully your friend doesn’t mind the step of creating an account. The good news is that since it will be on their own account, they’ll be able to keep working in the repositories for practice. All of the history will stay there and they can even review it if they need some extra practice.
