Please and thanks for the help. I have a motor z play Droid(Verizon) and I just got out of prison and have no money. When I went to prison the Nokia flip phones were the hottest thing out. So I have no idea what specifically I am doing. I get the general principle but have no skills for writing or editing code. My problem is this my z dies because there is something going on with the “system apps” that is causing tremendous effort. The phone has 32 g and 12 are devoted to system memory. I have cleared everything I can but I recently “backed” up the drive and I believe I copied the operating system apps instead of replacing the stock with the rebooted. The wifi doesn’t stay connected the memory is full (3g.ram) running 2.6 .4 avail. Only a few apps with no cache so it’s not anything outside the system apps. What I need is a way to edit them with out “bootloading” the phone because I don’t have enough trouble shooting skills if something goes wrong in the middle and I don’t have another phone to do research to figure it out either.
Thanks for being part of the GitHub Community Forum! We’re glad you’re here.
I wanted to jump in here, and mention that if you don’t get the help you’re looking for from this particular community, you might want to try getting help somewhere that focuses on troubleshooting phone issues. It’s definitely possible another GitHub user might have run into this same issue and can help, but the GitHub Community Forum focuses primarily on topics related to GitHub, Git, and development projects hosted on GitHub. We want to make sure you’re getting the best support you can, but this forum may not be the right place for this particular topic.
Best of luck!
