I followed the instructions on GitHub to convert a personal account to an organization (https://help.github.com/en/articles/converting-a-user-into-an-organization) but after the transition when I login with the new organization owner account, all of my private repositories are locked due to a billing issue and my account is Team for Open Source (which doesn’t allow private repositories). If there was a billing issue, the conversion should have failed, not converted me to an open source org and locked all my repos. And then in the billing page when I try to upgrade it says the upgrade will happen 5 days from now? My entire development team can’t just stop working for 5 days. This is unacceptable.
This makes no sense. I’m trying to upgrade my plan to unlock the repos, when I click upgrade, the options are Team or Enterprise. Even when I choose enterprise and pay for it, it thinks I’m trying to downgrade and says I’ll have to wait until the next billing payment. I’m not downgrading, I’m upgrading.
