Branch Protection on Multiple Unique Named Branches

After looking at the fnmatch documentation, I cannot see an apparent way to match two uniquely named branches. I.E. I would like to cover the branches ‘master’ and ‘staging’ with the same branch protection rules.

Do I just need to create a seperate rule to cover both?

Put them in one at a time like this

Master *press the enter key*

Staging *press the enter key*

this doesn’t work for me. it overwrites the last protected branch. looks like one rule has to cover anything… can this be changed? comma separated rules would be nice.

This doesn’t work. in the current version of Github, don’t know if it ever worked as described here
