Attach Self-Hosted Runner to Multiple Repos

I have a lot of repositories I’d like to use self-hosted runners with, however I do not want to manage a separate instance of the runner for each one.  Is it possible to have multiple repos use a single self-hosted runner, or even better load balance across a pool of them?

Thank you!

Currently, the scope of self-hosted runner is current repository. Github team said that They’ll be working on enabling them for organizations in the future.

I could not provide the exact timeline of this feature, you could keep an eye on Github Changelog .
