GitHub Education is on a mission to build communities and support emerging tech talent around the world. How? We’re looking for the next batch of technical student leaders to apply to the GitHub Campus Experts Program!
We know many students in this community have a passion for helping others with questions around Git, GitHub, and even coding. We want to extend an invitation for all of you in this community to apply to the program.
What is a GitHub Campus Expert?
GitHub Campus Experts are student leaders building diverse and inclusive spaces on their campus that join with like-minded folks to learn or build projects together. They foster communities on their campus and help other students learn valuable industry skills, secure opportunities, and better prepare themselves to become the next generation of software developers.
If you’re a student growing your campus community or starting from scratch, the GitHub Campus Experts Program has everything you need to engage your community and create valuable events for your campus. As a Campus Expert, you’ll have access to GitHub Campus Experts training, resources, and support to excel in the activities you organize on your campus. You’ll also get opportunities to attend GitHub’s first-party events and join a global community of student leaders.
To qualify for the GitHub Campus Experts program, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Validate your student status through the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
- Be enrolled in a post-secondary formal education institution.
- Be a GitHub user for at least six months.
You can apply to the program here.
