All builds using molecule suddenly fail

I have set up a workflow, that tests my ansible playbook weekly with molecule. Suddenly this morning I noticed, that my builds are failing. The error message is not very helpful.

> Run molecule test
Error: Process completed with exit code 1

Enabling debug output of the runners, I found the following error in one of the runners.

[2020-12-19 12:43:45Z ERR Worker] System.IO.IOException: Invalid pipe handle.
   at System.IO.Pipes.PipeStream.ValidateHandleIsPipe(SafePipeHandle safePipeHandle)
   at System.IO.Pipes.AnonymousPipeClientStream.Init(PipeDirection direction, SafePipeHandle safePipeHandle)
   at System.IO.Pipes.AnonymousPipeClientStream..ctor(PipeDirection direction, String pipeHandleAsString)

   at GitHub.Runner.Worker.Worker.RunAsync(String pipeIn, String pipeOut)
   at GitHub.Runner.Worker.Program.MainAsync(IHostContext context, String[] args)

My playbook checks out the code, installs python3, install required dependences (ansible, docker, molecule) and then run molecule test.

Did anybody see a similar behavior? Did anybody know how to fix this?
