Add 'latest commit date' to forks list

I apologize if this is the wrong place for this feature request but I could not easily find where to create a feature request. I have found in the past that when an open source repository becomes abandoned occasionally there are still community forks of that repo that are still maintained. Sometimes, if the project is large enough, it can be difficult to find which fork that is and which forks have been updated recently, without manually going through each one individually, which is time consuming.

I would propose that a ‘latest commit date’ or ‘last updated date’ be added to each forked repo item in the list of forks for a repo.

Thanks for being a part of the GitHub Community Forum!

This topic has already been opened and is being discussed in another thread here: In an effort to keep the Community Forum organized and make it easier for other users to find information, we ask that users continue the conversation in existing threads, instead of opening new ones about the same topic. For this reason, I’ll be closing this topic, and you can continue the conversation in the original thread, if you’d like. It’s more likely you’ll get engagement and answers to your own questions this way, too.

Thank you again for being here!
