when I add existing repository from the local path ,such as ‘/Users/bendeng/Documents/GitHub/CustomPluginShare’，but actually the path added is ‘/Users/bendeng’.

Hey! I am not 100% clear on the workflow you are using. Can you give some step by step instructions so I can follow along (as well as what you expect the output to be and what it actually is)? Thanks 
@dengweijun welcome! How are you adding the repository to GitHub Desktop? Are you dragging-and-dropping it directly in or navigating to it in the File > Add Local Repository option?
