Accessing the new "GitHub Suggestions" via API? (public beta)

I really like the new beta feature “GitHub Suggestions” that allows reviewers to propose changes in a pull-request that can be easily adapted by the original author.

How can I access the actual suggestions that can be made with the new “GitHub suggestions” beta feature in an automated fashion? Will there be support in the API to extract the suggested snippets or do I have to parse the comments in the PR to find them? Also, is it possible to distinguish “accepted” suggestions from declined ones without analyzing the changes further down the road?

Hey there @proksch,

Since Suggested Changes on GitHub is still a beta feature, it doesn’t look as though GitHub provides an API for them just yet. You can let the folks at GitHub know that this is something you’d like to see by dropping them a message over here 🙂

If you need a hand with anything else, just let me know!
