Okay so a couple of months ago I downloaded the 360Controller app, and what actually happened was it completely ruined the mapping of the binds of my controller and thus was unusable. Later I decided to wipe my hard drive. However the issue of the remapping was still present, I contacted Microsoft Support and apparently the said that there were some files that were still on my computer because the controller was working fine on another my brother’s mac. When I try and use the uninstall comamnd on github it is not letting me do it. I contacted Apple Support later and they couldn’t help because they were unsure how the uninstall command would work and wouldn’t know what would happen to my device so they asked my to contact github. So here I am right now asking people to help me figure out how to get my controller back to normal.
If you’re asking how to use the piece of software that you found in a repository on GitHub, presumably https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller in this case, the best way to contact the maintainers of that software is to:
- Check the README for instructions on how to operate the software, pointers to documentation or troubleshooting info.
- Check the SUPPORT file, if one exists for instructions on how to best contact the maintainers for support.
- Check the CONTRIBUTING guide, if one exists. Sometimes if there isn’t a SUPPORT file, the CONTRIBUTING guide will give instructions on how to contact the maintainers for support.
All of these documents can be found, if they exist, in the repository where you found the software itself.
